Background
Joe Altier has been singing and playing the piano since the age of 5 when his Mom started teaching him music in small town Central Square, NY. Embracing everything from Frank Sinatra and Otis Redding to Garth Brooks and Metallica, over the years Joe has developed an incredible repertoire of over 4000 songs. He's also become a proficient songwriter, connecting raw emotion with the hearts of his listeners.
Joe’s music career truly began when he assumed the lead vocal role for regional hard rock band Brand New Sin. Three albums later they headlined across the US & UK, were featured in the motion picture “School of Rock”, and appeared on MTV and ESPN when famed WWE wrestler The Big Show requested Joe’s soaring vocals for his infamous entrance song “Crank It Up”. Joe was honored when he was asked again in 2021 to do Paul Wight’s (The Big Show’s) new song “New Room, New View” when he transitioned to AEW.
With over 5,000 events performed since 2008, Joe continues to stay in demand as a piano/vocal soloist for corporate and other private events as well as public venues. In addition to personal and collaborative recording projects, Joe still occasionally performs with his band to sold out shows all across the state. Notably, Joe won Central New York’s Best Male Vocalist award for seven straight years!
When the entertainment industry experienced shifts during 2020, Joe’s focus turned to his online presence and developing his audience virtually. Via online platforms like Twitch, TikTok, Youtube, and Instagram Joe has expanded his audience exponentially to receive millions of views of his recorded videos and over 250,000 hours of view time of his live performances from fans around the globe.
